If you wanted to buy fresh fish to cook as such, and not to freeze at home, you would only buy it in small quantities - one meal at a time. We could not supply you with such small quantities economically.
If you are going to freeze at home, then as long as you are confident about the quality you are getting, you should buy ready-frozen instead. To maintain top quality, the freezing process must happen very quckly. However, your home freezer will take ten or twenty times as long to freeze fish as a commercial freezing plant.
We might add that buying fresh fish is absolutely no guarantee of quality, anyway. As you know, fresh fish deteriorates very quickly. By the time it has made its way from the quayside to your fridge, it is often inferior to fish which was selected for quality immediately after being landed, and frozen straightaway.

No. Our delivery company will leave your parcel in a safe place, such as outside your back door or in your garage. If you might not be in on the delivery day, just tell us where you would like it left.
It doesn't have to come to your home address. Many members have theirs delivered to their place of work, where it is signed for by the receptionist. The parcel is clean, dry and easy to handle. It can be kept in reception, post room, office, or car and taken home after work.
Alternatively, you could have it delivered to a neighbour and collect it from him or her when you get home.
Assuming the parcel is unopened, its contents will stay frozen until at least 9pm.
