The ling is not exactly a glamourpuss... but it has its followers, including our member Mary Whitworth who asked us to get it onto our list. Mary: your fish is our command! (chorus of groans). The ling is a cousin of the cod and haddock, and you can do all the same things with it.. or in fact more, as Mary points out, since the flesh is firmer and less inclined to flake.
