Also known as a "steamer", this characterful clam hails from the USA. It has a very interesting-looking, er... "neck" would be the polite way of describing it. They also have ridiculously brittle shells, so we're afraid you will have to put up with at least three shells out of four being fractured or worse. But the flavour is much loved by a select few, who don't seem to mind about the shells. We only stock this item intermittently. Our longnecks are normally about four inches wide.
