"Panga", craftily renamed "river cobbler" by an anonymous marketing smarty, is farmed in large quantities in Viet Nam. Somewhat infamously passed off as cod from time to time, it is indeed, white, skinless and boneless, but rather more bland than cod. The internet carries an abundance of shocking tales about farming methods, but we find these hard to square with our experience of the EU import regime (all processors are inspected at source), and indeed with panga's growing popularity.
