This wonderful Swedish concoction is packed in a toothpaste tube. Squeeze it out onto hot toast - the bittersweet taste beats any other 1-minute snack BY A MILE. However, we're breaking new frontiers here. On the tube, it says "Do not freeze" (because freezing slowly in a home freezer separates the contents into a thicker paste and a runny liquid). But we HAVE to freeze it, because that's the only way to get it to you economically. However, our industrial freezer does the freezing quickly with much less separation. So it's a bit runny on the first squeeze but no less delicious! Now why would we go through that tortuous explanation, if this wasn't the best thing on sliced toast? Saver packs contain three tubes. Crab cream - not smoked, but same idea. We only have a very few of these.
