Steaks from round fish such as sea trout come in several shapes, ranging from what we call jodphurs (from the front end, with skinny trouser legs) via "Thai fishermen" (stumpy legs) to "Os" with no legs at all (from the back end of the fish). It's such an annoyance if you want to serve six people. We know, because you've told us many times. So here's the answer - carefully matched steaks, the same shape and never more than 20g different in weight. You're serving eight? Then order a further pack of two from our main sea trout steaks section, and we'll match them up to your Dinner Party Pack, as far as possible. Please note - if you're serving 12, you can't just buy two packs of these party packs. You see, you might get Os in one pack and jodphurs in another... you'd better give us a call.
