From January 2013... CREVETTES is the new name we've adopted for the item we have always called Indian Ocean prawns. This is probably the most popular format in which we sell king prawns (with Peeled king prawns - raw a close second). In recent years other sources of similar prawns have emerged and we need to reflect these changes. We're still offering the same prawn as always, ("Indian crvts") but we urge you to try these new alternatives, which look very similar and taste good too. But there's one department in which the newcomers can't quite compete: they're never quite as enormous. XL- yes, XXL, not really.
