Product Information
  • Most people will find this indistinguishable from UK hake
  • This is a choice cut - the loin steak
  • Very favourable pricing

Hake makes numerous appearances on our website. We always have local UK hake. We often have South African hake. And we frequently have Chilean hake. They are all very good and the foreign hakes are often very reasonably priced. Some fish from foreign parts with the same name and and similar looks, just aren't what you're expecting. We'll never offer you Vietnamese red mullet, nor Australian monkfish. But Chilean hake is a very serious proposition. Please try it, and if you disagree, we want to hear from you.
