These kippers are from Robson's of Craster, they've been our main kipper supplier for decades. Their herring is sourced from the North Atlantic, precision selected for the exact right oil content for kippers, then smoked over blended hardwood to give a wonderful flavour and golden sheen. And the full complement of those kipper-defining bones. You will be pleased to know there is not a drop of dye on these kippers, 100% naturally smoked. Serve them up grilled on a Sunday morning with toasted thick-cut granary bread and poached eggs. Not so keen on bones...? you may want to look at the kipper fillet variety of this item
