Product Information

If you haven't tried Lobster Thermidor before, you are here for a treat. Of a French origin and named after a French play called Thermidor,  it's not surprise the lobster is cooked in a rich and very creamy cheese and white wine sauce, definetely French style, topped with breadcrumbs. The very basic definition of lobster thermidor says that it is cooked lobster meat in a wine sauce, stuffed into a lobster shell, topped with gruyere cheese.

But our lobster Thermidor is prepared by our in-house chef Tim. Tim has added 3 types of cheese, cheddar, parmesan and gruyere, a truly cheese delight Thermidor sauce restaurant standard, using the best ingredients. Our Lobster Thermidor is made with just the tails from rock lobsters, fresh lobster tails, frozen to keep them very fresh! With this kit you'll achieve the best results, you will be cooking your fresh lobster (once defrosted) from scratch.

Our Lobster Thermidor kit contains:

  • 2 rock lobster tails, which have had the meat cut out for easy preparation.
  • 1 pack of thermidor sauce
  • 1 pack of breadcrumbs

And of course each pack comes with very simple instructions on how to prepare and cook. Your lobster thermidor kit is frozen so you can use it whenever it's convinient for you. Ideal for dinner parties, defrost the kit 24hrs in advance and voila your lobster Thermidor will be ready in no time.

It's a straight forward recipe so if you’re a bit more adventurous and want to try making it yourself, we can help with that too. Just buy buy our lobster tails , defrost it overnight and you can prepare the meal yourself. Follow our Lobster Thermidor recipe, from our recipe's section.
