- Larger strips of maguro give you flexibility to cut to shape.
From yellowfin tuna, sashimi grade tuna loins. Our super frozen maguro is kept at minus 60C throughout its life, so it arrives with you in a pristine state. Super frozen tuna is the best sashimi tuna you can buy. This unique process is resposible to maintain the colour and tenderness of the tuna. When it gets to your freezer (at only minus 20C) it will lose its red hue within 2-3 weeks, so it won't look quite as perfect. But the taste will be unaffected for a while longer.
