Did he mention the bones? These are one of the few fillet steaks in our range that contain bones - they are all but impossible to remove before cooking (and not easy after). Try this for hungry.

Our Pike are fished from The Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Estonia. There isn't a lot of information about European Pike but the IUCN has marked them as least concern.
