Barbecue miso black cod skewers & Barbecue Asian tuna skewers

Two easy Barbecue recipes using fish misshapes

Recipe 1: Barbecue miso black cod skewers

Ingredients: 
2 packs of black cod misshapes 
1 tbsp sunflower oil 
1 heaped tbsp White miso 
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Mirin 

Method
1) cut the black cod misshapes into similar sized chunks 
2) mix white miso, oil, honey and Mirin together in a bowl 
3) put the black cod chunks into the marinate and stir 
4) leave the fish to marinate for at least half an hour
5) put the fish into skewers (2 packs of black cod should make about 6 skewers) 
6) cook the skewers on the barbecue or in the oven (200oc) for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked and nicely caramelised
8) leave it to cool for 5 minutes and serve with rice or salad 

Recipe 2: Barbecue Asian tuna skewers 

Ingredients: 
1 pack of tuna misshapes
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
2 spring onions
Dried chilli flakes (optional) 

Method
1) cut the tuna misshapes into similar sized chunks 
2) mix soy sauce, sesame oil and fried chilli flakes together in a bowl 
3) put the tuna chunks into the marinate and stir 
4) leave the fish to marinate for at least half an hour
5) put the fish into skewers (1 pack of tuna misshapes should make about 3 skewers) 
6) cook the skewers on the barbecue or put under hot grill for 5-10 minutes until they are cooked medium rare 
8) leave it to cool for 5 minutes and serve with salad
