F1 Kipper Dip

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 400g kipper fillets
  • A good dollop of something hot from your fridge... anything brown sauce to a few drops of something serious.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsps plain yoghurt
  • Black pepper

Method

  1. Cook the kippers then cool them.
  2. Remove skin then churn finely with fingers and fork or in your whizzer.
  3. Stir in the other ingredients (by hand is best).
  4. Season with pepper.
  5. Serve with bread sticks, tortilla chips or a selection of crisp raw vegetables.
