Stir-fried crab

Serves 2


  • 227g / 8oz white crabmeat
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 sticks celery, sliced
  • 1 small red pepper, deseeded and sliced
  • 25g / 1 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tsps soy sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Lettuce leaves for serving (preferably several different types)


  1. Heat the oil in a wok or frying-pan. It must be really hot.
  2. Add all the vegetables and toss for two minutes.
  3. Add the crabmeat, soy sauce and pepper and toss for a further two minutes.
  4. Arrange over or beside lettuce.
