Seared sesame tuna recipe with soya and honey dressing. A lovely, easy and full of flavour recipe to have as a main for one or as a starter. For four people add another tuna steak to this recipe.

Tuna teriyaki

Seared sesame tuna teriyaki recipe with raw sashimi tuna in a soy sauce dressing.

Ingredients

tuna steak

50g sesame seeds

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soya sauce

juice of one lime

2 red chillies

1 garlic clove

Coriander for garnish

Cooking steps

Step 1

Coat tuna steak in sesame seeds

Step 2

Finely slice garlic and fry gently in a tbsp of oil until just golden, remove and set aside
Sear tuna in the same pan on each side, set aside to rest

Step 3

To make the dressing combine the honey, soya, lime juice and one of the chillies finely chopped

Step 4

Spoon over the dressing and finish with the fried garlic and coriander
