These are black tiger prawns from south east Asia. They're ten times the size of cold water prawns (such as our Best North Atlantic prawns) and they have an excellent firm texture verging on crunchy. Add a little mayo or something fancier, and you have an A-grade eating experience. About 20 prawns per pack, or 75 in the saver pack.

You will find similar looking but less expensive prawns on other sites, but when comparing prices consider the SIZE of the prawns and the GLAZE (that's the water "overcoat" added to each prawn). Our weights exclude the glaze and we always offer the largest available size. Watch our video on King Prawns.

Zeus' prawns Fish code 140555 Serves 2





8-10 peeled king prawns, cooked
4 spring onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 glass white wine
Small can chopped tomatoes
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp dried dill
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch oregano
Feta cheese
1 Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onions and garlic. Stir over medium to high heat for 2 minutes.

2 Add all other ingredients except prawns and cheese. Continue cooking for about 4 minutes : the liquid should reduce by about half. When it has done so, add the prawns and stir for a further two minutes.

3 Add feta. Keep stirring. The feta should melt quickly and the dish is then ready to serve.
