These snack sized pots of mackerel pate are made in house by our on site chef, and it is completely delicious. Be warned, it does have a bit of a kick to it! Made using UK caught and smoked mackerel, we believe this is a top quality product. It may be a small pot but it packs a punch, with loads of flavor and the perfect pate texture. Have it for lunch on some toast, or make it part of your charcuterie board.
We sell the hot smoked mackerel fillets this is made from here if you wanted to have a go at making your own pate.
Sustainability - our rating 8/10
This mackerel is caught in the NE Atlantic, where stocks are generally considered good. Although caught by trawl nets, the fish is not a bottom-hugger, so these trawls do not damage the sea floor.
