We get this hot-smoked trout from a long standing traditional smokehouse based here, in the UK. It's ready to eat once defrosted, however it can be reheated briefly if required. If you've never had smoked trout before, we highly recommend giving it a try. It's delicate and luxurious. It makes a wonderful addition to a cheese board with some crackers, or you can serve it canape style on some crackers or slices of cucumber. There's so many ways out there to enjoy smoked trout, you can't possibly run out of new ways to try it!
