Product Information

This pack contains two individually frozen turbot fillets. Depending on which pack size you buy the fillets within the packs range in size from 150g - 300g. These fillets are healthy sized portions for one person. Arguably a 300g fillet could feed two people. These fillets have their skin on and should be cooked with it on. As opposed to our ‘wild turbot fillet steaks’ that we have sold for years, these are filleted from farmed Spanish turbot. Whilst they aren’t quite at the same end of the luxury fish spectrum they are still great fish fillets. They taste great and are neatly filleted. It’s worth mentioning that one of the fillets, as per the photo, is likely to have a small belly area that is slightly thinner and has a different appearance. It’s not viable and realistic to separate them all out as it would be too wasteful, plus it’s all totally tasty and edible. Just give the larger one to who has a bigger appetite on the night. In terms of cooking suggestions, we suggest simply salted and pan fried to crisp up the skin.
