Salmon Sushi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200g Sashimi Grade Organic Salmon Belly Strip Sake
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Nori seaweed sheets
  • Wasabi paste
  • Soy sauce
  • Pickled ginger

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the sushi rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Add the rice and water to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 18 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Heat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to warm.
  3. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and add the vinegar mixture. Use a spatula to mix well and let it cool.
  4. Cut the Sashimi Grade Organic Salmon Belly Strip Sake into thin slices.
  5. Lay a sheet of nori seaweed on a sushi rolling mat. Spoon a thin layer of rice onto the seaweed and press down evenly.
  6. Add a small amount of wasabi paste onto the rice and lay a few salmon slices on top.
  7. Roll the sushi tightly, using the mat to shape it. Slice the sushi into even pieces.
  8. Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
