Miso and sesame carp noodle stir fry
A carp stir fry, carp in a marinade with miso paste and teriyaki sauce combined with the crunch of broccoli, sugar snaps all twisted in some egg noodles for the perfect stir fry.
What you’ll need
- 1 fillet of carp
- 2tbs teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- thumb size piece of ginger finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- tenderstem broccoli
- sugarsnap peas
- egg noodles
Let's Cook!
Step 1
Cut the carp into portions and marinade with the teriyaki, miso paste and sesame seeds for an hour.
Cook the noodles according to the packets instructions
Step 2
Preheat a wok with the sesame oil until very hot, fry the fish in the oil on both sides until cooked through - reserving any leftover marinade. Remove the fish from the wok and set aside somewhere to keep warm
Step 3
Stir fry the ginger and garlic until fragrant and add the vegetables, stir frying until coloured and just beginning to softened. add the cooked noodles and leftover marinade and get everything in the wok piping hot
Step 4
Divide the stir fry between bowls and top with the carp
