Kingklip

Kingklip is an odd-looking fish without a tail fin and with blotchy brown and orange skin. This didn't stop it from becoming more or less the national fish of South Africa and very little of their catch leaves the country. Therefore our kingklip comes from New Zealand. Kingklip has excellent white, lean, slightly sweet-tasting boneless flesh which early settlers of South Africa preferred above all other similar fish, and that's how it got its name. We sell fillet steaks or good thick bullets from the neck.
