Seaweed

Laver and samphire have always had their devotees but now wakame, kombu and sea spaghetti are rapidly rising in popularity. Our dried seaweeds can be used as an ingredient or a veg dish but for me the standout offerings are the tinned versions with oil and brine - they make a ready-made meal. And the one with cockles is almost worth that fantastic price for the huge specimen cockles alone.
