Product Information
  • 20 thin slices of cooked octopus sashimi, beautifully laid out on a tray
  • These are best eaten as they are, perhaps with a soy sauce dip, however please note, tako is firm verging on chewy
  • For sushi, a main course requires 150g of fish per person

These perfectly sliced octopus tentacles are complete with sucker details. The Japanese call this 'Tako'. If you're looking to add visual and tasting adventure to your next sushi session, look no further! Be warned, we buy this item from a specialist Japanese processor where "firm" octopus is favoured. This is not universal preference. It is often called chewy. If you're open to trying something a bit different. we definitely recommend giving this a try!
