- 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
- 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- A pinch of dried chilli flakes, to taste
- Juice of half a lemon

- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Let's Cook!
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and fresh chilli, and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
Step 2
Increase the heat slightly and add the king prawns to the pan. Sprinkle over the smoked paprika and dried chilli flakes, then season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 3
Sauté the prawns for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn a delightful pink and are just cooked through.
Step 4
Optional: If using, add a splash of white wine to deglaze the pan, allowing the prawns to soak up all the aromatic flavours.
Step 5
Squeeze over the lemon juice and toss the prawns to coat them in the sizzling mixture.
Step 6
Serve immediately, straight from the pan for an authentic experience, or transfer to a serving dish.
