What you’ll need

  • 300g fresh high quality tuna
  • 2-3 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1 lime - juiced
  • coarse pepper and salt to taste
  • red onion - finely sliced
  • oilve oil to drizzle
  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise

Step 1

Using a sharp knife, cut thin slices of tuna across the grain of the fish and arrange on a serving plate

Season the pieces with salt and pepper as you go and then sprinkle with the red onion and capers. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and the lime juice.

Meanwhile make the dipping sauce. Combine the sriracha sauce and the mayonnaise and mix well together

Serve immediately with crusty bread and green salad leaves and the sriracha mayonnaise.
