Brill Fish

Brill is a large flatfish which could be mistaken for the better-known turbot, although it never achieves the same majestic size. It's a prime fish with sweet white meat and a subtle flavour of its own, which makes it popular in upmarket restaurants. We sell prime brill fillet steaks from the thickest part of the fillet and fillet portions from the thinner end. Brill tastes excellent raw and therefore we offer sushi/sashimi cuts too. The roe is rare and well worth trying, either to fortify a sauce or to cook solo.
