No longer so humble... haddock fishcakes used to be pressed out in their millions by fishcake machines with Max potato and Anon fish. But these have given way to the 21st century fishcake. Made by hand, it has just enough potato to keep it hanging together, combined with proud-to-be-there quality fish and magical seasonings to create very distinct personalities, encased not in a heavy orange breadcrumb straightjacket, but in a lighter dusting of real or panko crumbs. Yum. Take care not to overindulge.
