Wild British Dressed Crab - Starter for Four (4 x 130g)

A dressed crab is a whole crab's worth of picked meat, packed back into its own shell by someone with more patience than you or us. The white meat, from the claws and legs, is sweet and flaky; the brown, from the body, is richer and closer to a pâté. A good one gives you both, side by side.
This is the starter to buy when there are four of you and you'd rather not be in the kitchen: a crab each, lemon, brown bread and butter, a spoonful of mayonnaise. (Nobody has yet complained about the lack of cooking.) Four together come in at about 5% less than buying them singly.
Defrost overnight in the fridge and eat within 24 hours. If you'd rather build your own, we sell white crab claw meat separately.
