These fillet steaks are our prime sockeye offering. They're cut from the middle of the fillet, so they're extra thick and bursting with lusciousness. Really! Well how else would you describe a powerhouse of nutrients including vitamin D, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids embedded in super tasty red flaky flesh.
The Pacific Ocean is home to five species of salmon amongst which Sockeye is a bit of a standout because despite being on the small side, it always commands a higher than average price. A very smart steely blue when growing up in the ocean, sockeyes change to a brilliant red colour (with green heads!) when they return to their home rivers.
