THE FISH SOCIETY'S AMAZING RANGE OF FISH FILLETS
A fillet is the classic pan-ready cut from a bigger fish. Here you'll find all the favourite fish fillets: cod, haddock and plaice of course, plus luxury fillets: sea bass, lemon sole, Dover sole, John Dory, and plain hard to find: zander, megrim, carp. Plus many more - in all, nearly 40 choices of fish fillets.
We almost always pack them in pairs, so a 400g pack will contain two 200g fillets. One fillet up to about 300g is normally one portion (300g would be XXL); a bigger fillet might serve two or three. Here's a tip: fillets usually contain a few pin bones. If we've removed these, we'll tell you. But our fillet steaks and bullets normally have no pin bones.
Local fishmongers are great, but where are they? Supermarkets have fish, it doesn’t make the cut! The best fish? We’ve got you.
