Fish Pie Box - Serves 6
- Two 300g packs of wild fish pie mix, a pack of Grimsby smoked haddock and 200g of cooked North Atlantic prawns
- Poach the fish and haddock gently in milk with a bay leaf, use the milk for the sauce, add the prawns last
- About 1.1kg of fish: a pie for six

A good fish pie needs three things: white fish for bulk, smoked haddock for depth, and prawns for the person who only eats the prawns. This box is exactly that, already cut into chunks so the only knife work is peeling potatoes.
Grimsby smoked haddock is the undyed kind, pale straw rather than highlighter yellow. (If your pie is luminous, someone has been at the dye.)
