Our FishRJumpin smoked salmon is Norwegian salmon, cured with salt and sugar, cold smoked by an award-winning smokehouse and long sliced.
- Long-sliced, cold smoked Norwegian salmon, in 100g or 200g packs
- 200g makes two very generous starters, or breakfast for four
- Best on its own with lemon and black pepper, or in a sandwich or bagel
Long-sliced means cut horizontally along the side, so you get long, unbroken slices that drape properly on a plate rather than the short, ragged ones in most supermarket packs.
It arrives frozen, which surprises some people. It shouldn't: smoked salmon freezes very well, and defrosted properly, we'd defy you to tell it from fresh. If you can, we'll give you your money back.
Defrosting and serving
Defrost it overnight in the fridge, still in its pack. Take it out 15 minutes before serving; fridge-cold salmon tastes of less.
