Prawn Linguine Kit - Serves 4
- Two 250g packs of XXL raw peeled king prawns (about 16 prawns), a garlic and herb butter roll and a chilli, smoked salt and lime butter roll
- Melt a third of a butter roll in a wide pan, add the prawns from defrosted, three minutes, toss through 400g of cooked linguine with a ladle of pasta water
- Serves four; you bring the pasta and a lemon
In the box: only the items listed above. Anything else in the photo is a serving suggestion, so the linguine, lemon and herbs are not included.
Prawn linguine is the dish people search for more than almost any other seafood recipe, and most versions are let down by small, watery prawns. These are the largest peeled king prawn tail you are likely to find in the UK, so four or five per plate actually looks like dinner.
Two butters because you'll want to make it twice: once with garlic, once with chilli. (Save the pasta water. It is the sauce.)
