Stone bass loin steaks

Stone bass is gaining in popularity in the UK due to it's size which is much bigger than the standard farmed sea bass. Due to it's size, it can be cut into these luxurious loin steaks and other prime cuts. The flavour of stone bass may not quite reach the standard of sea bass, but it is still a good fish and it is well priced. If you're looking for recipes, try looking for Meagre recipes, it's the same fish just with a bit of a name change. I think you can see why the name was switched up. Considering the size these fishes get to, there's nothing meagre about them!
