This is the soft shell crab you know and love with the prep work removed. These crabs have been quartered, battered and lightly fried in tempura batter (quite a lot - 55% batter) before being individually frozen. You can remove ione at a time from the pack and bake them in your oven from frozen. They make a great burger, or serve solo with a tangy dipping sauce like sweet chilli or soy and lime juice, or perhaps just a sprinkle of sea salt.
Soft shell crab (45%), tempura mixed flour (wheat flour, wheat starch, baking powder [raising agent (E500. E575), anti-caking agent (E341), emulsifier (E450)], salt, white pepper, water), rice bran oil.
