Whole gilt-head sea bream
- Order number: 266010
- Each pack contains one whole, cleaned and gutted fish
- Wonderful when baked whole
- Typically 1 fish serves 1 person
There are many species of bream out there, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. It's named after the little gold bar on its forehead. In France, it's the much-loved Dorade. If you like seabass, you'll enjoy these. They are best cooked whole. Try stuffing them with lemon and herbs and wrapping in foil and baking in the oven. We've also had a lot of enjoyment from making salt-baked sea bream.

- "Best sea bream I have eaten in the UK, almost the same as eating it in Greece."
Sustainability - our rating 7/10
Our gilt-head sea bream come from a well managed Aquaculture stewardship council (ASC) certified farm. The feed, environment and the welfare are managed through the independant certification policy. Our rating leaves room for improvement as there is still work to be done on the feed to fork ratio.
