Fillets

THE FISH SOCIETY'S AMAZING RANGE OF FISH FILLETS

A fillet is the classic pan-ready cut from a smaller fish. Here you'll find all the favourite fish fillets: cod, haddock and plaice of course, plus luxury fillets: sea bass, lemon sole, Dover sole, John Dory, and plain hard to find: zander, megrim, carp. Plus many more - in all, nearly 40 choices of fish fillet.

We almost always pack them in pairs, so a 400g pack will contain two 200g fillets. One fillet up to about 300g is normally one portion (300g would be XXL); a bigger fillet might serve two or three. Here's a tip: fillets usually contain a few pin bones. If we've removed these, we'll tell you. But our fillet steaks and bullets normally have no pin bones.
